Join us as we take on the iconic Gertrude’s Nose loop in Minnewaska State Park Preserve: a dramatic cliffside hike along the Shawangunk Ridge known for sweeping valley views, exposed rock sections, and unforgettable overlooks. This is a moderate loop with steady elevation gain, rocky terrain, and extended ridgeline walking. It’s the kind of hike that makes you feel strong. The kind where every overlook earns a pause. Expect panoramic views of forests, a lake, and open skies! We’ll all get fresh air, strong climbs, and plenty of moments to take in the view. During the hike, we’ll take a break to enjoy a summit meal including fresh sandwiches and snacks. Come ready to hike. Leave with great memories! Please express interest - it helps us plan better!
